Grainline Studio Tamarack Jacket Paper Pattern - Sizes 0-18 or 14-30
Difficulty: Advanced Beginner. Techniques involved include straight seams, basic quilting, inserting a welt pocket, and applying bias binding.
Suggested Fabrics: Light to mid-weight cottons, linens, chambrays, and blends work well for this jacket. Since the fabric will be doubled and quilted to a batting avoid anything too heavy, as the jacket may become excessively stiff.
Notions: Thread, fusible interfacing, 4 coat hooks & eyes, 5 yds of 1/2" double fold bias binding (or 1/2 yd extra fabric to make your own), one twin size quilt batting.
