Intermediate level pattern - due to the "burrito method" of clean finishing the yokes.
Pattern Features
- Stand-up collar
- Back keyhole opening with back neck ties
- Front & back yokes with gathered front and back lower bodices
- Length #1 - cropped hem
- Length #2 - "tuck-in" length hem with optional waist tie
- Sleeve A - gathered at shoulder and narrows at wrist
- Sleeve B - gathered at shoulder and gathers at cuff
- Optional tulle sleeve head pouf
Fabrics, Sundries & Measurements
Fabrics: This pattern is designed for lightweight woven fabrics such as cotton voile, cotton lawn and light-weight linens. The muse and initial vision was for Indian block printed voiles, however, we also love it in Swiss dot, chambray, cotton gauze and light weight linens. Just be aware that looser weave fabrics such as gauze and linen will result in a slightly looser fitting blouse.
Sundries: Thread and light-weight fusible interfacing.
Tools: Fabric scissors, iron & ironing board, straight pins, tailor's chalk, hand sewing needle, sturdy safety pin or tube turning device.
